Taking your CELTA certification with CELTA Cambodia provides you  with the opportunity to train at Cambodia’s leading English language institute. The Australian Centre for Education (ACE) was established in 1992, and is a leader in the provision of English Language training and testing services in Cambodia and in the South East Asia region. ACE is an initiative of IDP Education, one of the world’s largest student services providers and an owner of the IELTS test.

Exciting teaching opportunities exist for fully-qualified English-speaking teachers at the Australian Centre for Education (ACE) in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, in Cambodia. Applicants who are interested in teaching opportunities with IDP/ACE are required to meet the minimum requirements of an undergraduate degree and a recognized TESOL teaching qualification such as the CELTA.

Upon completion of our CELTA program, you can submit an updated CV with a scanned copy of your degree and other relevant certificate (if any) via hr@acecambodia.org. Work with ACE in Vietnam

 

We have a partnership with ACET and can help to arrange introductions to its centres in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. ACET has over 15 years’ experience of operations in both Hanoi and  Ho Chi Minh City. During this time, ACET has built an excellent reputation for helping students to achieve their study goals quickly and effectively in a supportive learning environment. 

For candidates who successfully complete the CELTA course with us, ACET offers a 50% discount on the cost of the CELTA with the condition of a successful interview and signing a 12-month contract within four weeks of completing the course. The money will be refunded in two halves – after the sixth payment of the year, and at the end of the 12-month contract. 

Minimum qualifications and requirements in addition to the CELTA:

  • Have a university degree
  • Be a native English speaker or have a minimum IELTS score of Band 8 
  • Be willing to work in Vietnam for at least 1 year
  • Be able to meet Vietnamese work permit requirements
