Cambridge CELTA Course
The Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a globally recognized qualification designed for those who want to teach English professionally. This intensive, practical course equips you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to teach English effectively in diverse classroom settings. Through a combination of guided learning, observed teaching practice, and reflective assignments, CELTA prepares you to become a competent and adaptable English language teacher.
Course Delivery
The CELTA course includes a minimum of 120 contact hours. During the course, you will:
Attend input sessions covering all aspects of teaching English as a second language
Complete 6 hours of assessed teaching practice
Complete 4 written assignments (750–1,000 words each)
Benefit from guided lesson planning and tutorial support
Receive constructive feedback from tutors and peers
Observe experienced ELT professionals for at least 6 hours

Course Assessment
There is no final written exam, but you will be assessed on:
- Lesson planning and teaching
- Ability to apply what you learn in the classroom
- Awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of your teaching
- Contribution to group input and feedback sessions
- Written assignments.

Minimum age of 18
Proficient English user (CEFR C1/C2 or above)
Education level suitable for higher education (University degree recommended)

Face-to-Face Mode
The face-to-face CELTA in Siem Reap is a full-time, intensive program designed to immerse you in the world of English language teaching. Over four weeks, you will gain hands-on experience, expert guidance, and the confidence to begin your teaching career.
120 Hours of Training
Take part in input sessions, lesson observations, and supervised teaching practice across four intensive weeks.
Interactive Input Sessions
Cover essential topics such as lesson planning, language analysis, classroom management, and teaching skills.
Collaborative Learning
Work closely with your trainers and peers throughout the day, with constant opportunities to ask questions, clarify ideas, and gather practical teaching tips
Observed Teaching Practice
Deliver eight 45-minute lessons to real groups of English language learners, applying a range of teaching techniques and frameworks.
Feedback & Reflection
Receive detailed, constructive feedback from your trainers after each observed lesson, helping you improve step by step.

Online (Part-Time)
The 100% Online Cambridge CELTA offers the same internationally recognized qualification as the face-to-face course, ensuring you gain identical skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience. You will receive extensive guidance and support from experienced Delta-qualified tutors while completing six hours of observed teaching practice in a virtual classroom. Designed for maximum flexibility, this course allows you to study from anywhere in the world and save on travel, visa, and accommodation costs — all while earning the same prestigious Cambridge CELTA certificate.
